MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517099029 A) filed by Agc Inc., Tokyo, on Oct. 14, for 'electromagnetic wave transparent body, matching body, and antenna devic.'
Inventor(s) include Hiramatsu Tetsuya; Ikuma Yoshiyuki; and Sonoda Ryuta.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention suppresses reflection of radio waves. A radio wave transmission body that satisfies the relationships (n1-0.3) (C0/(4 f v(er1))) = d1 = (n1+0.3) (C0/(4 f v(er1))), d2 = n2 C0/(4 f v(er2)), d3 = n3 C0/(4 f v(er3)), 0 = n2 = 2, 0 n3 = 3, (((n3-1)cos?+(n2-a2)sin?)/a3)2+((-(n3-1)sin?+(n2-a2)cos?)/a4)2 = 1, (((n3-3)cos?+(n2-a2)sin?)/a3)2+((-(n3-3)sin?+(n2-a2)cos?)/a4)2 = 1, ? = -38, a2 = 1, a3 = 1.2, and a4 = 0.6, where d1 is the total thickness of a main substrate, d2 is the thickness of an intermediate layer, d3 is the thickness of a matching layer, C0 is the speed of radio waves in air, f is the frequency of the radio waves, and n1 is an even number of 2-20."
The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/015382.
