MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059831 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 23, for 'electrolyte for lithium-sulfur secondary battery, and lithium-sulfur secondary battery comprising same.'

Inventor(s) include Park, In-Tae; Park, Seong-Hyo; Song, Myeong-Jun; Lee, Chang-Hoon; and Lee, Hyun-Soo.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a lithium-sulfur secondary battery, and a lithium-sulfur secondary battery comprising same, and can provide a lithium-sulfur secondary battery having improved lifespan characteristics by adjusting a solvent, a non-solvent, and a lithium salt included in the electrolyte to certain conditions."
