MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517053986 A) filed by Tokuyama Corporation, Yamaguchi, Japan, on June 4, for 'electrolysis element, and alkaline water electrolysis vessel.'

Inventor(s) include Tanaka, Yasuyuki; and Noriyasu, Yusuke.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is an electrolytic element in which maintenance, such as replacement of electrodes and re-plating of a partition wall, can easily be performed. The electrolytic element comprises a conductive partition wall, an anode and a cathode that are electrically connected to the partition wall, a first gasket that is placed so as to be in contact with a peripheral edge section of the partition wall, and a frame-like holding member that receives and holds the peripheral edge section of the partition wall and the first gasket, wherein the holding member includes a frame-like base body and a fixing means for detachably fixing the partition wall to the frame-like base body."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 24, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/002048.
