MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617009243 A) filed by Cedrion Consultoria Tecnica E Ingenieria SL, Madrid, on Jan. 29, for 'electrohydrodynamic heat sink.'

Inventor(s) include Puago Martinez, Hector; and Vega Martinez, Patricia.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an electrohydrodynamic heat sink, formed by a conductive wire (5) disposed near to and parallel to a series of ground fins (4), in an elongate case (1) with an inlet hole (2) at a central point and two outlet holes (3) at the ends.(5 The case (1) has a larger flat face (11) that holds the ground fins (4), which are disposed between the outlet holes (3), and the internal space of the case (1) has a substantially triangular shape, with a greater height corresponding to the distance between the larger flat face (11) and the inlet hole (2) and a width corresponding to the distance between the outlet holes (3)."

The patent application was internationally filed on July 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/ES2024/070467.
