MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518090737 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 23, for 'electrode terminal fixing structure, and battery, battery pack and vehicle comprising same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a fixing structure of an electrode terminal, 5 and a battery, a battery pack and a vehicle including the same. The fixing structure of an electrode terminal includes a battery housing configured to be opened at one side and have a bottom at the other side in which a perforation hole is formed; an electrode terminal installed through the perforation hole not to contact an inner wall of the perforation hole; and a terminal gasket interposed 10 between the electrode terminal and the perforation hole, and the electrode terminal includes a body portion inserted into the perforation hole; an outer flange portion configured to extend along an outer surface of the bottom of the battery housing from a first side of the body portion; an inner flange portion configured to extend toward an inner surface of the bottom of the battery housing from a second side of the body portion; and a flat portion provided to 15 an inner side of the inner flange portion."
