MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005655 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 20, for 'electrode for lithium secondary battery and lithium secondary battery.'

Inventor(s) include Lee, Sangryeo; Byun, Seoungwoo; Jang, Eunji; Ryu, Jihoon; Lim, Taeseob; Kim, Dong Kyu; and Lee, Hyunjun.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an electrode for a lithium secondary battery capable of improving output characteristics and low-temperature characteristics of the lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. The electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a metal current collector; and an active material layer formed on the metal current collector and containing an electrode active material, a conductive material, and an oxide-based solid electrolyte having a lithium ion source, wherein the electrode active material and the oxide-based solid electrolyte may be dispersed in a particle form within the active material layer, with a particle size distribution having a span of 1 or less."
