MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097824 A) filed by Saint-Gobain Glass France; Centre National De La Recherche Scientifique; College De France; and Sorbonne Universite, Courbevoie, France, on Oct. 10, for 'electrode for an electrochromic system and electrochromic system containing said electrode.'

Inventor(s) include Patissier, Amaury; Redor, Simon; Rousse, Gwenaelle; and Tarascon, Jean-Marie.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an electrode, in particular a counter-electrode, for an electrochromic device, comprising a lithium, tungsten and nickel oxide in which the atomic ratio of nickel to tungsten is between 0.9 and 1.1, said oxide crystallizing in the orthorhombic system, said lithium, tungsten and nickel oxide preferably fulfilling the formulation LixNi2W2O9, where x is between 0 and 2, endpoints included."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/057187.
