MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065864 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 10, for 'electrode, secondary battery comprising same, and manufacturing method therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Kwak, Sang-Min; Lee, Ho-Chan; Kang, Seong-Wook; Kwon, Soon-Hyung; Yoon, Kyung-Hwan; Lee, Ki-Seok; Lee, Nam-Jeong; Han, Jae-Sung; and Park, Moon-Soo.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are an electrode, a secondary battery comprising same, and an energy storage device, the electrode comprising: an electrode current collector; and an electrode layer which is positioned on the electrode current collector and which includes an active material, a conductive material and a binder, wherein the binder comprises a fluorine-based polymer and modified polyolefin, the fluorine-based binder is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the modified polyolefin comprises a carboxylic acid anhydride-derived functional group, and the amount of modified polyolefin is 2-40 parts by weight on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the binder."
