The inner surface (216) of the circular cathode plate (204) mates with an axial end of the cylinder-shaped jellyroll (202), and the outer surface (218) of the circular cathode plate (204) comprises an outwardly extending hollow cylindrical portion (228) configured to mate with a top cover (208) of the electrochemical cell (100). The circular anode plate (206) with raised rims (230) having an inner surface (222), and an outer surface (220) mates completely with a bottom cover (210) of the electrochemical cell (100). The inner surface (222) with raised rims (230) of the circular anode plate mates with another axial end of the cylinder-shaped jellyroll (202)."
