MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511010821 A) filed by Prof. Pradip K. Jha; and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University Of Delhi, Department of Physics, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi, New Delhi, on Feb. 9, for 'electro-optic enhancement by ca substitution in sbn60 thin films.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tahir Ahmad; Dr. Kajal Jindal; Prof. Monika Tomar; Prof. Pradip K. Jha; and Dr. Sonia Chahar Srivastava.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present invention particularly relates to the method of manufacturing thin films with calcium (Ca) substitution in strontium barium niobate (SBN60) with enhanced electro-optic effect of Tetragonal Tungsten Bronze (TTB) structured strontium barium niobate thin films by doping with Ca for the first time. The study also involves the dynamic response of the electro-optic effect in Ca doped SBN thin films."
