MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517082182 A) filed by Prime Polymer Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 29, for 'electrical wire.'
Inventor(s) include Fujii Sumiaki; and Yanagishita Yoshio.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[Problem] To provide an electrical wire having a coating layer that is excellent in terms of electrical resistance characteristics and mechanical strength and has a good appearance, by using an insulating material that contains a polymer mainly composed of ethylene and that is excellent in terms of the extrusion processability. [Solution] An electrical wire in which a conductor or a conductor shielding layer is covered with an insulating material containing a polymer containing ethylene as a main component, the electrical wire being characterized in that the polymer containing ethylene as a main component has a density in a specific range, a melt flow rate (MFR) in a specific range, a volume resistivity (O*cm) in a specific range, a shear viscosity (Pa*S) range in which a specific flow curve is obtained, and a 50% crack initiation time (F50) in a specific range in an environmental stress crack resistance test (ESCR test)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/009009.
