According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electrical safety device operates with an electrical assembly to perform safety methods. The electrical assembly has one or more of an electrical cable, an electrical socket, or an electrical plug. The electrical safety device collects at least one temperature reading from one or more portions of the electrical assembly, and prevents flow of electric current through the electrical assembly if one or more of the collected at least one temperature reading satisfies a threshold criterion. In certain embodiments, the electrical assembly is an extension cable. In other embodiments, the electrical assembly is an electrical wall outlet. In yet other embodiments, the electrical assembly is an electrically powered device. In further embodiments, the electrical assembly is an electrical socket adapter device."
