MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004069 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'electrical connector of modular vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to an electrical connector (300) of a modular vehicle (1). The modular vehicle (1) is configured to be converted from a two-wheeled configuration (100) to a three-wheeled configuration (200) and from the three-wheeled configuration (200) to two-wheeled configuration (100). The electrical connector (300) comprises a first connector (302) disposed on a leg shield (112) of a two-wheeled vehicle (100). The electrical connector (300) comprises a second connector (304) disposed on an inner panel of a front body (216) of the modular vehicle (1) in threewheeled configuration (200). The electrical connector comprises a cable (306) having at least one plug (306a). The at least one plug (306a) configured to be received by one of first connector (302) and second connector (304) to form an electrical connection between an electrical system of two-wheeled vehicle (100) and an electrical system of modular vehicle (1), in three-wheeled configuration (200)."
