MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514076228 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on Aug. 11, 2025, for 'electric vehicle control system.'

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The electric vehicle control system includes a motor 2, a battery 4 configured to supply electric power to the motor 2, and a control unit 5 configured to control the motor 2 based on the motor efficiency that is a ratio of an output of the motor 2 to the electric power input to the motor 2. When a deviation between an actual motor output that is an actual output of the motor 2 and an estimated motor output obtained by multiplying an actual electric power that is an actual electric power input from the battery 4 to the motor 2 by the motor efficiency is outside a predetermined range, the control unit 5 corrects the motor efficiency so that the deviation falls within the predetermined range."
