MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083185 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 6, 2023, for 'electric shock proof isolator for water-pipes.'
Inventor(s) include Salman Ragib Ansari; Brijesh Singh; and Aritras Roy.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular plumbing union assembly (100) comprises a first conduit arrangement (104) having a first connector (104a) defining a water inlet, and a hollow cylinder (104b) concentric and integral to the first connector (104a), said cylinder (104b) having a spirally coiled cross section that defines a water outlet of the first conduit arrangement (104). At least one conduit (108) is flow-connected to the first conduit arrangement (104) and defines a cross-section similar to the hollow cylinder of the first conduit arrangement. A second conduit arrangement (112) has a hollow cylinder (112a) defining a cross-section similar to the hollow cylinder (104b) of the first conduit arrangement (104) and flow connected to a water outlet of the conduit (108). A second connector (112b) concentric and integral to the hollow cylinder (112a) of the second conduit arrangement (112) defines a water outlet of the second conduit arrangement (112)."
