MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019810 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'electric shock prevention device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric shock prevention device comprises of cuboidal structure 101 having three telescopic rods 102 attached underneath structure 101 by means of pivot joint, ends of structure 101 are provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 for locomotion of structure 101, hydraulic pushers 104 attached between rods 102 to enable adjustable tripod configuration of rods 102, suction cup 105 attached rods 102 by means of pneumatic pusher 106 to stabilize structure 101 on ground surface, C-shaped member 109 configured with plurality of hinges 110 installed at end of link 107 to grip around waist of user, an electrode 111 connected with the structure 101 by means of a vertical sliding unit 112 provided at a lateral surface of the structure 101, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 113 installed on the structure 101 and integrated with a processor for recording and processing images of the structure 101 to determine position of user."
