MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097734 A) filed by Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki Kaisha, Shizuoka, Japan, on Oct. 10, for 'electric saddle-type vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Ebihara Yuya; Miyashiro Shidehiko; and Jozaki Keishi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric saddle-type vehicle 1 in which a main frame 5 extends rearward from a head pipe 4. A down frame 6 extends downward from the head pipe 4. The down frame 6 is disposed below the main frame 5 in a side view of the vehicle. A reinforcing frame 12 is connected to the main frame 5 and the down frame 6. At least part of a battery 41 overlaps the main frame 5 in a side view of the vehicle. A right radiator 61R is disposed to the right of the reinforcing frame 12. A left radiator 61L is disposed to the left of the reinforcing frame 12. At least part of the right radiator 61R overlaps the reinforcing frame 12 in a side view of the vehicle. At least part of the left radiator 61L overlaps the reinforcing frame 12 in a side view of the vehicle."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/032848.
