MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097737 A) filed by Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki Kaisha, Shizuoka, Japan, on Oct. 10, for 'electric saddle riding type vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Ebihara Yuya; and Miyashiro Shidehiko.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric saddle riding type vehicle 1 comprises a main frame 5, a down frame 6, a power unit 51, and a connection member 13. The main frame 5 extends in the front-rear direction X. The down frame 6 is disposed below the main frame 5 in the vehicle side view. The power unit 51 is disposed below the main frame 5 and above the down frame 6 in the vehicle side view. The connection member 13 is connected to the main frame 5 and the down frame 6. The connection member 13 overlaps with the power unit 51 in the vehicle side view. The connection member 13 can be removed from the main frame 5 and the down frame 6."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/032849.
