According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric reaper (10) for harvesting crops is provided. The electric reaper (10) includes a main frame (14) having a front end (28), a middle portion (30), and a back end (32). A first drive system (22) is coupled with a set of wheels (26) for movement of the electric reaper (10), while a second drive system (24) mounted at the front end (28) is configured for operating an implement (12) independently of the first drive system (22). A control unit (18) is connected to the first drive system (22) and the second drive system (24) and is configured to regulate their independent operation based on inputs received from input means (16) positioned at the back end (32) of the main frame (14). A rechargeable battery is used as a power source (20) to power the first drive system (22) and the second drive system (24)."
