MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097006 A) filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'electric power storage device, fixing jig, and method for manufacturing electric power storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Kanazawa, Sayako; Miyashiro, Kae; Uriu, Toshibumi; and Sasaki, Miho.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electric power storage device comprises an electrode body and an exterior body that seals the electrode body. The outer package comprises: an outer package film that wraps the electrode body; a body portion in which at least the electrode body is wrapped by the outer package film; a protruding portion in which the outer package film protrudes outward from the body portion; a first seal portion in which surfaces facing each other of the exterior films of the protruding part are sealed, and a fixing jig for suppressing movement of the protruding portion with respect to the body portion."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/013346.
