MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070116 A) filed by Fuji Electric Co. Ltd., Kanagawa, Japan, on July 23, for 'electric power conversion device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric power conversion device capable of communicating with a power system and having a virtual synchronous generator function includes: a first output unit (21a) that measures active power (Pout) and reactive power (Qout) at a predetermined position in a system interconnection system, and outputs a difference (P*out) between active power (Pout) at a predetermined position in the power system and a value corresponding to reactive power (Qout) at the predetermined position; and a generation unit (21b) that generates the phase (?) of the output voltage of the power conversion device on the basis of a command value (Pref) of the active power, the difference (P*out), and the virtual synchronous generator function."
