MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105656 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'electric plug management device.'

Inventor(s) include Dhiraj Kumar Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A electric plug management device, includes a frame 101 positioned around a plug in a power outlet, an AI-based imaging unit 102 to detect plug dimensions, and extendable plates 103 that secure the plug, a microphone 104 takes voice commands for plug removal, a telescopic clamping unit 105 grips the plug, a pair of telescopic rods 106 extend to position a C-shaped handle 107, enabling a pulling force for easy plug removal, the telescopic links 108 and a rectangular member 109 extend to position the members 109 between the plug and outlet, loosening the plug without requiring excessive manual force from the user."
