MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514002505 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Jan. 10, for 'electric connection box, moving body on which the electric connection box is mounted, and power line connection method in the electric connection box.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A junction box (220) is provided on a power transmission path (222) that connects multiple electric storage units (100), which include a first electric storage unit (1001) and a second electric storage unit (1002), to an electric motor (16). The junction box (220) includes: a positive electrode part (254) to which a first positive electrode power line (2341), which is to be connected to a positive electrode of the first electric storage unit (1001), a second positive electrode power line (2342), which is to be connected to a positive electrode of the second electric storage unit (1002), and a load-side positive electrode power line (2345), which is to be connected to a positive electrode of the electric motor (16), are connected; and a negative electrode part (256) to which a first negative electrode power line (2361), which is to be connected to a negative electrode of the first electric storage unit (1001), a second negative electrode power line (2362), which is to be connected to a negative electrode of the second electric storage unit (1002), and a load-side negative electrode power line (2365), which is to be connected to a negative electrode of the electric motor (16), are connected."
