MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544010564 A) filed by Kabushiki Kaisha Toyota Jidoshokki, Aichi, Japan, on Feb. 7, for 'electric compressor.'

Inventor(s) include Ito Hiroaki; Yano Junya; Kinoshita Yusuke; and Watanabe Harutaka.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electric compressor (20) includes a rotary shaft (22), a compression part (24), a motor (26), an inverter (28) that has an inverter circuit (28A), and a housing (30). The housing (30) includes a motor housing (34) having a peripheral wall extending in an axial direction of the rotary shaft (22) and a bottom wall (34B), an inverter housing (36) that is provided on the peripheral wall, a compression part housing (32), a shaft support member (37) that has an insertion hole (37A). The inverter housing (36) has an extending portion (36B) extending in the axial direction away from the peripheral wall and having a high voltage connector (56) and a low voltage connector (58). The high voltage connector (56) and the low voltage connector (58) are overlapped with the bottom wall (34B) as viewed in the axial direction and disposed within a width of the extending portion (36B)."
