The method (500) comprises receiving plurality of road signatures of vehicle (102) at each time stamp of plurality of time stamps. Further, the method comprises applying encoding technique to the plurality of road signatures for generating plurality of encoded road signatures corresponding to current time stamp of plurality of time 10 stamps and one or more previous time stamps. Furthermore, the method comprises grouping plurality of encoded road signatures and adding one or more dummy lane encoding data to generate context-aware sequence data. Thereafter, the method comprises performing aforementioned steps for remaining time stamps of plurality of time stamps to generate remaining context aware sequence data. Finally, the method comprises estimating ego lane of 15 vehicle based on context-aware sequence data and remaining context-aware sequence data."
