MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013537 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalor, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'edible cookie handling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An edible cookie handling device, comprises of a hollow cylindrical frame 1 arranged with a handle 2 accessed by a user to position frame 1 in proximity to a platter stored with multiple cookies that user desires to consume, a telescopic rod 3 for positioning a clamping unit 4 in proximity to cookies for grasping one of cookie, a microphone 5 for enabling user to input voice commands and after which, the user requires to position frame 1 around a container filled with beverage, a speaker 6 mounted on said frame 1 to notify user for quickly consuming cookie, an imaging unit 7 for determining age of user and based on which, the microcontroller accordingly evaluates an appropriate amount of cookies that user requires to consume and in case user attempts to consume more cookies than appropriate amount, then the microcontroller actuates speaker 6 to alert user."
