MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019753 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'eating habit improving device for toddlers.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jaswant Saini.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an eating habit improving device for toddlers, comprising a wearable body 1 arranged with multiple suction cups 2 for affixing the body 1 with a bicep portion of a user, a touch sensor 3 installed on body 1 for detecting accommodation of the user's bicep, an inflatable member 4 arranged on the body 1 to secure the body 1 on the bicep, an imaging unit 5 installed on body 1 to detect inappropriate food consumption by the user, an ultrasonic sensor 6 installed on body 1 for detecting distance between user's arm and mouth, an inverted telescopic rod 7 configured on the body 1 for extending to position a plate 8 attached with the rod 7 to prevent user to consume food items and a telescopic bar 9 suspended from body 1 to position a suction unit 10 over the surface to restrict user's movement."
