MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022355 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'eatable grilling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Preet Kamal Singh Saini.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eatable grilling assistive device, comprising a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality supporting blocks 2, a to receive user's voice command regrading height of the housing 1, a pneumatic scissor arrangement 4 regulates height of the housing 1, multiple motorized hollow cylindrical members 5 each crafted with a motorized lid 6, a touch interactive display panel 7 enables, a user to provide input regrading requirement of grilling various types of eatables along with time duration of grilling each of the eatable, a temperature sensor monitors temperature of the members 5, a pair of hydraulic links 8 lifts the members 5 up-to an appropriate distance to prevent burning of the eatables, and a timer monitors time duration of grilling of the eatables."
