MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024799 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'earthen pot holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An earthen pot holding device, comprising an elongated frame 1 having a first portion, a C-shaped member 2 to be accommodated around a hook 3, a second portion is installed with a ring 4, a pair of curved-shaped extendable rods 6 for accommodating an earthen pot, a microphone 7 for enabling a user to give voice commands, a laser sensor for detecting dimensions of the hook 3, a pair of pneumatic blocks for securing member 2 with hook 3, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 for detects animal/insect in proximity to pot, an expandable pulley arrangement 9 for detecting diameter of platform 5, plurality of curved-shaped extendable units 10 to extend via drawer arrangement 11, a pair of motorized sliders 12 to translate units 10 away from each other to cover pot, a pair of motorized pivot joints 13 for providing to-and-fro motion to repel animal/insect."
