The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to fluorescence-linked immunosorbent assay (FLISA) based diagnostic kit for the early detection of Parkinson's disease. The present invention introduces a novel approach to address the diagnostic challenges posed by Parkinson's Disease. By targeting the -cross-sheet form of a-Synuclein and utilizing a non-invasive sampling approach, a potentially transformative method for early Parkinson's Disease detection. In vitro assay utilizing rotenone-induced Parkinson's Disease in SH-SY5Y cells represents a critical step in validating the practicality and reliability of our FLISA-based approach for the early detection of Parkinson's Disease. The present invention contributes to the broader effort of improving patient outcomes by enabling timely intervention and therapeutic strategies in the early stages of neurodegenerative disorders."
