MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024048 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'eagle beak contorting device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Shubham Gupta; and Sudhishtha Kumar Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eagle beak contorting device, comprising a platform 1 to accommodate an eagle, a V-shaped member 2 constructed with a pair of links installed via a telescopically operated rod 3 for resting neck of the eagle, a touch enabled screen 5 for enabling a user to give input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for capturing and processing multiple of the eagle, a motorized hinge 12 for tilting the links towards each other, a pair of motorized clamps 7 installed via a pair of motorized sliders 8 for gripping feet of the eagle, an L-shaped telescopically operated bar 9 and equipped with a motorized grinder 10 for extending positioning of grinder 10, a motorized ball and socket joint 11 to provide multi-directional motion to bar 9, the motorized grinder 10 to rotate for trimming beak of eagle."
