MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020125 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'dust collecting device for moving vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Inderpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A dust collecting device for moving vehicle comprising, a platform 1 affixed with rear portion of a four wheeler by means of multiple suction units 2 arranged with the platform 1, a accelerometer installed over the platform 1 to determine acceleration of the four-wheeler, a chamber 4 arranged over the platform 1 and installed with multiple exhaust fans 5 to withdraw polluted air from surroundings and move towards a filter 6 arranged in continuation to the fans 5 to separate debris from the polluted air that falls down over base portion of the chamber 4, a dust sensor installed over the platform 1 to monitor level of dust present in the polluted air, and multiple vacuum units installed behind the filter 6 to aid in withdrawing the filter 6 ed air from the filter 6."
