MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621004046 A) filed by Jayhind Agro Equipment, Saswad, Maharashtra, on Jan. 15, for 'dual-hydraulic reversible plough assembly with interconnected cylinder system.'
Inventor(s) include Javed Magbul Shaikh.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A reversible plough assembly for agricultural tillage operations is disclosed. The assembly comprises a headstock with a main axle, a first plough bottom and a second plough bottom mounted on the main axle in opposite orientations, a first hydraulic cylinder and a second hydraulic cylinder coupled between the headstock and a plough frame on opposite sides, and a piping system. The piping system comprises a first connecting pipe coupling the second cylinder outlet to the first cylinder inlet, and a second connecting pipe coupling the first cylinder outlet to the second cylinder inlet, forming a cross-connected hydraulic circuit. Directing fluid through a first port expands the second cylinder while contracting the first cylinder, rotating the plough frame clockwise. Directing fluid through a second port achieves counterclockwise rotation."
