The composition comprises at least one metal oxide nanoparticle selected from zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles, copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles, or a combination thereof, together with an agriculturally acceptable carrier or diluent. The nano-fertilizer is formulated as a foliar spray and is intended to support plant growth while contributing to the management of viral disease incidence in okra. The invention also provides a method for preparing the nano-fertilizer composition. The disclosed invention provides a stable and easy-to-apply nano-fertilizer formulation suitable for improving crop performance and for incorporation into integrated nutrient and plant health management programs."
