MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005723 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 20, for 'dry electrode for electrochemical device and method for manufacturing same.'

Inventor(s) include Shin, Dong-Mok; Park, Joo-Nam; Park, Moon-Soo; and Shin, Dong-Oh.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a dry electrode comprising a dry electrode film as an electrode active material layer, the electrode active material layer comprising an electrode active material and a binder resin, wherein the binder resin is fiberized, and the electrode active material layer has an average pore diameter of 5.0 ? or more and a porosity of 15 vol% to 50 vol%, and the average pore diameter is calculated on the basis of the longest diameter of pores."

The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/012023.
