MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019775 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'drum uplifting and tilting device.'
Inventor(s) include Anil Kumar; Vinit Vishnoi; R. P. Agarwal; and Jasvir Singh Rana.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A drum uplifting and tilting device comprises of a frame 1 having a first and second portion 2, 3, herein first portion 2 is integrated with a spring lock 4 for suspending frame 1 from hook of a crane, a touch interactive display panel 5 mapped on first portion 2 that is accessed by a user for providing input regarding an operation to be performed, a horizontal telescopically operated rod 6 arranged on first portion 2 to extend/retract for positioning bars 7 on sides of drum, an electromagnetic plate 8 integrated on each of bars 7 to adhere onto sides of drum, motorized rollers arranged in continuation with plates 8 and wrapped with a strap 9 that is fastened around drum to completely acquire a grip over drum, a primary and secondary pulley arrangements 10, 11 integrated on plates 8 and engaged with each other."
