MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441031083 A) filed by Prasanna Gandhiraj; Anil Neerukonda Institute Of Technology And Sciences; Dr. T. Vidyavathi; D. Deepthi; S. Barghav; T. Jhashank Kumar; J. Noble Stephen; and Ms. P. Devi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 18, 2024, for 'drone supported search and rescue operations for water accidents.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Water accidents gift specific demanding situations for seek and rescue (SAR) operations because of the dynamic nature of water our bodies and the capacity dangers they pose. In latest years, the integration of drones into SAR efforts has emerged as a promising option to increase conventional approaches. The prototype is developed with Pixhawk flight controller using 980 kv motors which generate enough thrust to lift up to 2kg load (including entire drone individual parts weight). which is equipped with 4k resolution uav camera for real time observation of victim in sea shores. Which includes gps 10i module tagged with telemetry kit for real time coordinates and raw data of drone functioning. This entire is attached to a glass fibre frame and entire uav is powered by 5200 mah battery which is 3s LIPO battery. We will search for the victim in real time using camera and help them immediately."
