MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096511 A) filed by HL Mando Corporation, Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 7, for 'driving control apparatus of electric vehicle and control method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A driving control apparatus of an electric vehicle, according to an aspect of the disclosed invention, may comprise: a battery for supplying power to the vehicle; and a motor controller for controlling a motor which is supplied with power from the battery and drives the vehicle, wherein the motor controller: acquires information about the vehicle; on the basis of the acquired information about the vehicle, determines whether the battery is charged; and if, as a result of the determination, the battery is being charged, controls the motor such that driving of the vehicle is limited."
