According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A driving assistance device includes an imaging means configured to acquire pictures of a front side of a vehicle, a detection means configured to detect an obstacle present around the vehicle, a monitoring means configured to monitor a driver status, a communication means configured to communicate with other vehicle and to thereby acquire peripheral information of the vehicle, and a control means configured to generate a gaze point map based on the driver status, to generate a visual saliency map based on the pictures and the peripheral information of the vehicle, to set a level to a risk of collision between the vehicle and the obstacle in a blind spot region based on the gaze point map and the visual saliency map, and to change the manner of driving assistance to the driver according to the level of the risk of collision."
