MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057061 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on June 13, for 'driving assistance device, driving assistance method, and program.'
Inventor(s) include Nose, Masashi; Miyazawa, Tomoaki; Kumazawa, Kazuya; Tsujino, Miki; and Kitazawa, Tsukasa.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This driving assistance device: detects the traveling position of an own vehicle with respect to a traveling lane; performs driving assistance including at least one of report and steering assistance, if the traveling position of the own vehicle meets a prescribed condition; and changes, when having received a change instruction for the degree of driving-assistance intervention, the degree of driving-assistance intervention on the basis of the change instruction."
