MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010160 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'drawing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Sunil Kumar Gaur.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A drawing assistive device characterizes a platform 1 placed on the ground surface, where the user positions a sheet, a touch-enabled screen 4 on the platform 1 allows the user to select their desired drawing, an ultrasonic sensor detects the user's height, adjusting the telescopic rods 5 beneath the platform 1 accordingly, a holographic projector 6 displays a virtual image of the selected drawing on the sheet, aiding the user in drawing, a camera 7 mounted on platform 1 captures the user's hand movements while tracing the projected images, a robotic link 8 with a drafter scale 9 is assembled on the platform 1 to align the scale 9 with the user's hand movement, assisting in tracing the image."
