MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020653 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'drawing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Vinod Kumar Tyagi; Shail Dhaka; Anita Rathore; and Naveen.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A drawing assistive device, comprising a body 1 configured with a pair of slanted flaps 2 to be positioned over a fixed surface, a microphone 3 to receive voice commands of a user regarding angle of a sheet to be maintained while drawing, a frame attached in between flaps 2 carved with a pair of slots 5, a member attached with slots 5 via a pair of motorized wheels 7 to move member in between slots 5 for maintaining an appropriate angle of sheet as per user's requirement, an artificial intelligence based camera 8 mounted over body 1 for detecting dimension of sheet, a telescopically operated clip 9 attached at corner of member to clasp, a pair of sensors installed over member to determine liquidity of paint and to determine tension of sheet and an air blower 11 installed over body 1 for performing drawing over sheet for drying paint."
