MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641049384 A) filed by J. J. College Of Engineering And Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, on April 17, for 'doorbell with wireless video.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Doorbell with wireless video having an indoor unit, an outside unit, and a movable extension is offered by the utility model. A doorbell button, intercom, video, infrared detector, fingerprint and retinal recognition devices, and a battery-operated are all included in the outside unit. The indoor unit has a central processing system, display, intercom, network access, and Wi-Fi. Remote monitoring and control are made possible by the moveable extension, which has mobile Wi-Fi and Internet connection. To satisfy the demands of contemporary users, the system provides a variety of features, more comfort, and improved safety."
