MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003683 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'door rain visor installation device for four-wheeler vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A door rain visor installation device for four-wheeler vehicles, comprising a housing 1 attached with four telescopically operated rods 2 which extends as per height of door of four wheeler vehicle as detected by camera 5 and aligns housing 1 with door to be installed with a rain visor, a touch enabled screen 4 for enabling user to select type of visor to be installed, an electronic nozzle 6 for dispensing cleaning solution on door, a robotic arm 8 for scrubbing door via a brush 9, an electronic valve 10 for dispensing water on door, a hot air blower 12 for eliminating moisture from door, an electronic spout 13 installed with housing 1 via a telescopically operated bar 14 for dispensing adhesive solution on top portion in synchronization with a two-axis lead screw arrangement 16, a telescopically operated gripper 18 grips one visor and applies it over door."
