MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441079615 A) filed by Mynvax Private Limited; and Indian Institute Of Science, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 19, 2024, for 'disulphide-linked oligomerization domain, polypeptides, and uses thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to disulphide-linked oligomerization domains for oligomerization 5 of polypeptide fragments. The disulphide-linked oligomerization domain, according to embodiments herein, facilitate correct folding and assembly of proteins into their functional oligomeric forms, and enhances the stability and immunogenicity of oligomeric proteins. Also disclosed are polypeptides having the disulphide-linked oligomerization 10 domains linked to antigenic peptides, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The present disclosure further relates to compositions, nucleotides, recombinant host cells, and methods for producing the polypeptides as disclosed herein."
