MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104468 A) filed by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'dispute resolution system for an educational institute.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Superna Venaik; Dr. Ruchi Lal; Dr. Aaratrika Pandey; and Garima Pahwa.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A dispute resolution system for an educational institute, comprises of a housing 101, a seating arrangement 102 to enable seating of a plurality of users involved in a dispute, an extendable privacy panel 105 is configured with drawer arrangement 106 to enable extension and retraction as per an input received via a knob 115 to enclose the seating arrangement to provide privacy during dispute resolution, a plurality of vibration units 114 to provide calming effect to the users feeling stress, an interactive means provided with the housing to receive details relating to dispute involving the users, a rotatable camera 112 to capture facial expressions of the user, a behavioural analysis module to determine behavioural markers of honesty, deception, and stress, a classification module to classify dispute as horizontal dispute and vertical dispute to accordingly initiate dispute resolution in horizontal dispute mode or vertical dispute mode."
