Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Display Panel And Display Device Including The Same' Filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514074885 A) filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 6, 2025, for 'display panel and display device including the same.'

Inventor(s) include Kim Jinhyeon; and Kim Pureum.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a display panel (10) and a display device (1) including the same, in which a thickness of a light-emitting element layer (400) in an outer area (OA) of the display panel (10) is larger than a thickness of the light-emitting element layer (400) in a central area (CA) thereof, so that viewing angle characteristic in the outer area (OA) of the display panel (10) is improved."
