MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202047052831 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Chengdu Boe Optoelectronics Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Dec. 4, 2020, for 'display panel and display device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a display panel and a display device, which belong to the technical field of display. The display panel comprises: a first component (101), a second component (102), and a bendable component (103) which connects the first component (101) and the second component (102), wherein the first component (101) is provided with a display plane (A); and a via hole (H), which penetrates the bendable component (103) in a direction perpendicular to the display plane (A), is provided in the bendable component (103). By means of providing the via hole (H) in the bendable component (103), when the bendable component (103) is in a bent state, the via hole (H) is facilitated in releasing internal stress of the bendable component (103), such that various regions of the bendable component (103) realize a stress balance, thus guaranteeing structural stability and reliability of the display panel."
