MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517088432 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; Chengdu Boe Optoelectronics Technology Co. Ltd.; and Beijing Boe Technology Development Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Sept. 17, 2025, for 'display panel and display apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Huang, Yao; Hu, Ming; Dong, Xiangdan; and Yang, Mingkun.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises a driving backplane and a light-emitting device. The driving backplane is provided with pixel circuits located in a display area and a peripheral circuit located in a peripheral area, wherein the peripheral circuit comprises a plurality of cascaded shift registers; one shift register is used for scanning at least one row of pixel circuit; the pixel circuits and the shift registers each comprise a plurality of transistors; the transistors of the pixel circuits comprise driving transistors, and the driving transistors and at least some of the other transistors are metal oxide transistors; the transistors in the shift registers are polycrystalline silicon transistors; the light-emitting device is arranged on one side of the driving backplane; the light-emitting device comprises a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode which are sequentially stacked in the direction that is away from the driving backplane; a first electrode of each driving transistor is connected to the first electrode of the light-emitting device, and a second electrode thereof is connected to a first power line which is used for transmitting a first power signal; and the second electrode of the light-emitting device is used for receiving a second power signal."
