MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202247049188 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd.; and Beijing Boe Display Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 29, 2022, for 'display module and driving method therefor, and display device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display module and a driving method therefor, and a display device, relating to the technical field of display. The display module comprises a pixel electrode (03) at least having a reflective electrode (031). The pixel electrode (03) can reflect light transmitted by a liquid crystal layer (04) to the liquid crystal layer (04) under the driving of a pixel circuit (02), so that the light is emitted through the liquid crystal layer (04), so as to ensure the normal display of the display module. The pixel electrode (03) covers the pixel circuit (02). That is, an area where the pixel electrode (03) is located and an area where the pixel circuit (02) is located may overlap. In this way, compared with a transmissive display module, no separate reserved area is required to specifically provide the pixel circuit (02), so that the resolution of the display module can be effectively improved."
